C Kumar was born on 15th January 1975 in Hosur. His Parents are Mr Channarayan and Mrs Rajammal. He is married to Amudha and blessed with Jhanavi and Joshitha. He is a Master in Fine Arts from highly reputed College of Fine Arts - Chithrakala Parishath, Bangalore specialized in Painting. Presently serving as the President of JCI Hosur Lake City, Zone XVI, Junior Chamber International India
He speaks English, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.
He is motivated and guided many of his students to excel in the field of Art and Craft. Under his guidance many of his students were received awards at State and National Level Art competitions which were held at different parts.
Presently he runs the prominent Chithralaya Institute of Art and Craft in Hosur. He was recognized at National Level for his contribution to the field of Art and Craft. He was previously associated with The Ashok Leyland School and Sidharth Village School, Hosur. He was visiting lecturer in Advaith International Academy and Sri Gurukulam, Hosur.
He conducts Arts Exhibition and Art Fair in many places and also conducts workshop on Art and Craft for the various fraternities. He is a jury for many art events that are happening in the Titan Industries Ltd., Prabha Engineering Ltd, and Luk India Ltd., Hosur. He also visited Christ International School, Maharishi Vidhya Mandir, Sishya School, Sri Gurukulam and number of corporate as a jury.
He has received state level scholarships and awards for his fabulous contributions in Painting. His area of specialization is Set Designing, Backdrop decoration, Model Making, Murals, Craft Work and various types of painting using different media. He is an expert in making crafts using waste material. He also guided and evaluated Art and Craft competitions conducted by many of the residential associations across Hosur.
